Today was our first really early morning, on our feet by five, on the trail by six, and eleven miles deep by 10am, which put us at our daily mileage goal of the next water cache, so we are currently crushing it and should arrive at Warner springs earlier than planned as we left Julian, still later than our original timeline, but that was only a guideline anyways

We've seen a few lizards, bugs, nothing much else today

The water source is a maintained cache by awesome people, who bring gallons/pallets of water to a very dry stretch of trail, without caches like this, or hitching of the trail, there'd be zero dependable water between mile 59 to mile 101, so we can't be grateful enough to the fine trail angels keeping our dreams afloat

We caught up with a few people we've seen before, one from Julian who had, in my opinion, pretty bad feet, all tapped and blistered, back in Julian, his situation hasn't improved any and he had what looked to be a 2inch blood filled water bed of a blister on the side of his arch, among the rest of the damage his feet have sustained, poor soft office feet... He is in surprisingly good spirits though, he's wandered ahead of us we think, we are currently enjoying a fiesta out of the midday heat which seems the smartest choice, a few others are near us, they are like the annoying cinema goers with crinkly wrappers and chatter tainting an otherwise beautiful moment, heres hoping it quietens down soon as we can get back to slothing out the heat of the day

We restarted hiking around 5pm and wandered another 3.5 miles, leaving less than seven tomorrow for the water source with dead mice in it, we are also planning a stay in a teepee so that should be fun for tomorrow night, then back to the trail for the eight miles to Warner springs, ending the first section of the pct, section A

Tomorrow will be a good day, we off our first hundred trail miles, so exciting

We are camping on the edge of the trail overlooking the mountain, wonderful views bit a tad windy
